Dr Finlayson provides a full range of General Practice services with a particular interest in Preventative Health, Mens’ (and Womens’) Health, Mental Health and skin cancer medicine and minor surgery. He enjoys caring for the full range of patient ages, demographics, and concerns in a whole-of-person manner.
After qualifying as an optometrist he practiced on the Mid-North Coast of NSW before returning to study medicine at The University of Sydney. He joined the Royal Australian Navy and completed his initial training at The Canberra Hospital. Dr Finlayson served full-time in the Royal Australian Navy for many years, deploying a number of times around the world including the Middle East Area of Operations. He remains an Active Reservist. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners while practicing in rural NSW, on the Far South Coast.
After discharging from the full-time Navy Dr Finlayson moved with his family to Hobart in 2018 to continue in General Practice. Dr Finlayson enjoys golf, riding his bike, cooking, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr Vandenberg has returned home to Tasmania after practicing in Queensland. He likes to look after the entire spectrum of patient ages, demographics and concerns in a holistic way. Dr Vandenberg grew up in Launceston, and earned his medical degree at the University of Tasmania. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners while practicing in Spring Hill.
Dr Vandenberg enjoys camping, hiking and bike riding.

Dr Antje Vogelsang–Sharman (aka Dr Angie) studied medicine in Germany and moved to Tasmania in 2003. She retrained in Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She is passionate about all aspects of being a GP including acute and chronic care with a patient-centred approach utilising continuity of care. She strives to stay up to date with new developments in medical knowledge.
She provides a full range of General Practice service including Family Medicine, Paediatric care, Adolescent care, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Transgender Care, Mental Health, Aboriginal Health, and everything in between.
When she is not working, she enjoys her growing family (two grandchildren and counting!) and beautiful Tasmania.
She would love to learn the Chinese language but never finds the time and has to be content with (for the moment!) being fluent in English and German.

Dr Retchford provides comprehensive general practice care with a particular interest in Women’s Health, Antenatal Care and skin cancer medicine.
After qualifying, Dr Retchford spent several years in rural and remote South Australia and, since moving to Tasmania, has practiced in rural areas in the south of the state.
Dr Retchford enjoys watercolour painting, cooking, and spending time outdoors and on the water on Bruny Island.

Dr Adams, “Ken”, was born in Jacksonville Florida, USA. He moved to Texas at age three which explains his “Texas Drawl”. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in 1981; and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1982.
He was awarded Doctor of Law from Woodrow Wilson College of Law, Atlanta Georgia in 1988. He practiced law for 10 years, and was appointed as a Municipal Judge at Woodstock, Georgia. In 2002 Dr Adams graduated from Flinders University Medical School in Adelaide.
He is a dual citizen of both the USA and Australia. Dr Adams practiced medicine in Gunnedah from 2009 until 2018, then moving to Hobart.
He values the importance of patients being able to see the same GP every visit, and places emphasis on Preventative Health. He also promotes collaborative care with local Allied Health professionals to maximise patient wellbeing.
He is married to Debra (the boss), a Registered Nurse and Diabetic Educator, although now retired. He is proud of his sons Ian, who is planning for a career in medicine; and Baxter, a Clinical Psychologist, who has an Aussie accent having moved here at five years old.
Dr Adams enjoys the variety and challenges afforded by General Practice and feels welcome and privileged to be a part of the Hobart community. He believes no GP can be all things to all people, but humbly encourages open and honest feedback from patients in his goal of being the best doctor he can be.

Dr Touska Noor has been in General Practice since 2015.
She obtained her fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and enjoys the diversity, continuity of care and all aspects of general practice.
In her spare time, Touska enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and her dog.
She speaks English and Persian.

Dr Helen graduated as a medical doctor in 2008, after obtaining her first degree in Physics & Astronomy and has been in General Practice since.
She is interested in all aspects of General Practice.
Outside of work Helen enjoys singing, travelling, volleyball and spending time with family.
Please note that Dr Ndupu’s is under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners training program. She is required to consult with her supervisor on each patient.
